Who we are
At Manchester SLT we have a dedicated team of highly skilled speech and language therapists, who each have their own area of specialism and expertise. We offer wide range of therapy treatments and services for both adults and children.
- All of our therapists are registered with the Health Professionals Council (HPC) and the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT). Therefore therapists follow the guidelines produced by the affiliated boards, which means their practice is current and up to date in relation to guidelines and national policies. (Communicating Quality 3).
- At Manchester SLT, we operate an efficient service and operate through a client centred approach. This means that all of our speech and language therapists develop therapy assessment, plans and decisions with the client's best interests in mind and with their consent. All of our therapists are committed to achieving the best possible communication outcome and will continue therapy until the client feels they have achieved the best communication for their ability.
- We know how important family and friends are in relation to the communication needs of loved ones; therefore we offer support and guidance for each communication partner in each individual case. This could be in the form of training, demonstration or general tips and guidance on the best effective communication means for the individual.
- At Manchester SLT, we not only focus on the speech, language and communication difficulties of each individual, we respect their views and opinions on their preference for communication. All of our clinics are friendly, welcoming and centrally located to allow easy access. At Manchester SLT we go the extra mile to make you feel relaxed, comfortable and positive about your communication need.
